Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has been reported absent from Bayer Leverkusen’s training session amidst ongoing negotiations with Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr.
Talks have reportedly intensified, with Al Nassr’s delegation arriving in Germany on Monday to discuss the transfer with both Boniface and Bayer Leverkusen.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Al Nassr are keen to secure Boniface’s services, and their representatives are working to finalize a deal with the player and the club. The move is part of Al Nassr’s search for a new striker to replace Talisca, who recently joined Turkish club Fenerbahçe.
Al Nassr are also reportedly considering Aston Villa’s Jhon Duran as an alternative option. However, the £80 million price tag for the 21-year-old Colombian striker may be a deterrent for the Saudi Arabian club.
