Nigerian women’s basketball team, D’Tigress, will have a tough challenge in Group B at the Paris Olympics. They’ll be facing powerhouse teams Australia, Canada, and host nation France.
Basketball legends Carmelo Anthony (USA) and Penny Taylor (Australia), both FIBA Hall of Famers, conducted the Olympic basketball draw held on Tuesday at the Patrick Baumann House of Basketball in Mies, Switzerland.

The Women’s Basketball Tournament at the Paris 2024 Olympics tips off on July 29th and runs until August 11th, all happening at the Decathlon Arena – Stade Pierre Mauroy in Lille.

The top two teams from each group advance directly to the quarterfinals. The two best third-place finishers will also earn spots in the quarterfinals.
D’Tigress will be hoping to be one of the teams to make it out of the group.
In Group A China will face Spain, Serbia, and Puerto Rico while the United States will hope to dominate Germany, Japan, and Belgium in Gropu B
