Bendel Insurance will be aiming to avenge their 3-0 defeat in the first leg against Ikorodu City FC when both sides face off in a Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday 26 encounter at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin today.
Ikorodu City dominated their first meeting in October with a commanding 3-0 victory and will be eager to secure another win on the road, hoping to become the first team to complete a league double over the Edo Arsenal this season.
Despite being newcomers, the Lagos-based side has been one of the most impressive teams in the NPFL, winning 11 games and currently sitting seventh on the table after 25 matches.
Insurance, meanwhile, will be targeting their 10th win of the season. They come into this fixture in solid form, having gone unbeaten in their last three outings—a streak that could serve as a confidence boost against Ikorodu City.
The visitors will also be looking to claim their second away victory of the season and join Abia Warriors and Kano Pillars as the only teams to have beaten Insurance on their home turf.

A win for Ikorodu City would propel them to fourth place, overtaking Abia Warriors, while a victory for Insurance would see them break into the top half of the table, moving up to eighth.
