Gaziantep manager Selçuk İnan is expected to speak with Nigerian striker Davide Okereke ahead of their Turkish Super Lig clash against Trabzonspor on Sunday.
Despite stating the club’s last four games, Okereke has failed to either score or assist. Okereke started the season on a bright note scoring in two consecutive games at the start of the year.
Since his last goal in Gaziantep’s 1-0 win over Adana Demirspor on January 12th, the 27-year-old has gone four games without scoring a goal, and according to reports in Turkey, the club is hoping he will be able to break his goal drought.
According to gazianteppusula.com, the club’s technical director will have a chat with the striker to see what can be done to make him more productive.

Okereke joined Gaziantep in the summer on loan from Italian side Cremonese with the option of making the deal permanent at the end of the season based on performance basis.
He has scored six goals and provided two assists in 17 goals for the Turkish club this season. He was the subject of transfer speculation back to Italy during the January transfer window.
