Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze has made a successful return to training with Italian club AC Milan, after being sidelined for about a month due to injury.
Chukwueze’s injury, a suspected thigh strain, occurred during AC Milan’s 1-1 draw against AS Roma towards the end of last year. However, he has now fully recovered and has rejoined his teammates in training ahead of their upcoming Serie A match against Parma.
AC Milan will welcome Chukwueze’s return, as the team has struggled in the Serie A, currently sitting eighth in the standings, eight points behind fourth-placed Lazio.

The team is also facing pressure to secure automatic qualification to the Champions League round of 16 as they have recorded 15 points in the league, only two points above Aston Villa who sit ninth.
AC Milan’s recent 2-0 loss to Juventus has added to the team’s urgency to get back to winning ways, and they will be eager to defeat Parma in their upcoming league match.
With his return to the pitch, Chukwueze will be looking to establish himself as a regular starter for AC Milan and improve his goal tally, having managed only four goal contributions so far this season.
