Super Eagles winger Chidera Ejuke has been recognized for his stellar performances with Sevilla, earning the club’s Player of the Month award for September.

The 26-year-old contributed significantly to the Andalusian side’s campaign, featuring in five matches and netting his maiden goal against Real Valladolid. Coming off the bench, Ejuke secured a crucial 2-1 victory with a late winner.

Ejuke joined Sevilla on a three-year deal this summer after his contract with CSKA Moscow expired. Prior to his move to Spain, he had stints with Hertha Berlin and Anderlecht.

His strong club form has earned him a recall to the Super Eagles squad for their 2025 AFCON qualifiers against Libya. This marks his first call-up since September 2022.

While Ejuke may not be an immediate starter due to the form of Ademola Lookman and Moses Simon, he will be eager to contribute and showcase his abilities to the new national team coaching staff.
