Super Eagles full-back Bruno Onyemaechi finally made his highly anticipated debut for Olympiacos as the Greek side secured a convincing 4-0 win over Panserraikos on Sunday.
Onyemaechi joined Olympiacos on a four-year deal from Boavista in a €2.5 million transfer but he had yet to make his debut, having been benched in previous games against Panathinaikos and Asteras Tripolis.
However, with the team already taking a commanding lead, the game against Panserraikos provided the perfect opportunity for the energetic full back to make his first appearance for his new club.
The match against Panserraikos proved to be a one-sided affair, with Olympiacos dominating proceedings from the outset. A brace from Ayoub El Kabbi and another goal from Chiquinho just after the second half resumed gave Olympiacos a well-deserved 3-0 lead.

The home side continued to push forward, and their efforts were rewarded when Gelson Martins wrapped up the win with a strike in the 75th minute.
Onyemaechi impressed on his debut, showcasing his passing range and defensive skills. He completed 71% of his passes, including six into the final third, and won all his tackles and ground duels. His performance was a testament to his hard work and dedication, and he will undoubtedly be looking to build on his promising start.
The victory propelled Olympiacos to the top of the table with 51 points from 23 matches, two points clear of second-placed AEK Athens and the Greek powerhouse will aim to maintain their 23-game unbeaten run in all competitions when they host PAOK Thessaloniki in their next game.
