Ayo Dosunmu’s stellar performance propelled the Chicago Bulls to a thrilling 139-137 overtime victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. This preseason clash showcased the team’s potential for a strong upcoming season.
The game ended 130-130 at the end of the fourth quarter but the Bulls outscored the Cavs 9-7 to take the win.

Dosunmu led the Bulls with 19 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists. The starting five all contributed double-digit scores, with Zack LaVine (18 points), Nikola Vucevic (18 points, 12 rebounds), Coby White (14 points), and Jalen Green (14 points) making significant contributions.
Lonzo Ball, returning from injury, chipped in 11 points. The Cavaliers’ starting five also performed well, with Jarrett Allen (25 points, 16 rebounds) leading the way. Darius Garland (23 points), Donovan Mitchell (22 points), Evan Mobley (15 points), and Dean Wade (14 points) rounded out the Cavaliers’ scoring.
This was the Bulls’ final preseason game before facing the New Orleans Pelicans on October 24th. As the franchise looks to rebound from DeMar DeRozan’s departure, Dosunmu’s fourth season could be pivotal.
