Zamalek, Enyimba’s next CAF Confederation Cup opponent, are in red-hot form ahead of their crucial Group D clash on Sunday.

The Egyptian giants, who secured a 2-0 home win over Black Bulls in their opening group game, are eager to maintain their momentum when they travel to Nigeria to face the nine-time Nigerian champions.

Enyimba, meanwhile, are looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Al Masry in their opening group match. To further complicate matters, they will be facing Enugwu Rangers in an NPFL fixture today, hoping to avoid any injuries to key players.

Zamalek’s confidence soared after a convincing 4-0 away victory over Ghazl el Mahallah on Monday night. The Egyptian club has already begun preparations for the Enyimba clash, reportedly sending scouts to the Suez Stadium to analyze the Nigerian side’s performance against Al Masry.

The match is scheduled to take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Enyimba’s adopted home ground for the competition.

Enyimba will be wary of in-form striker Nasser Mansi who has found the back of the net three times in his last three games for Zamalek. He was on target against the Black Bulls and also grabbed a brace in the 4-0 win over Ghazl el Mahallah.
