A seasoned and well-traveled player, Kalu brings extensive international experience, most recently helping the Nigerian Olympic team reach the knockout stage at the 2024 Paris Games. Averaging 18.5 points per game, she ranked fourth overall in scoring, just behind Emma Meesseman (Belgium), A’ja Wilson (USA), and Satou Sabally (Germany).
Her standout performance came in an upset victory over Australia, where Kalu posted 19 points, five assists, five rebounds, and three steals to lead D’Tigress to a memorable win.
In addition to her Olympic success, Kalu has represented Nigeria in three Women’s Afrobasket tournaments from 2017 to 2021, the 2018 FIBA Women’s World Cup, and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Hailing from Newark, New Jersey, Kalu is no stranger to Georgia. She attended Savannah State University, where she led the Tigers to their first MEAC Championship in 2015 and became the first player in school history to surpass 2,000 career points.
