Trabzonspor continue their pursuit of Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu to bolster their attacking options. After their initial loan offer was rejected by Southampton, the Turkish club has returned with an improved bid.

The latest offer from Trabzonspor stands at €6m, with a 25% sell-on clause. The club is now eagerly awaiting Southampton’s response to this proposal.

If successful, this transfer would set a new club record for Trabzonspor, highlighting their determination to secure Onuachu’s services. Sources suggest that Southampton’s resistance to the transfer may be weakening.

Onuachu is no stranger to Trabzonspor, having spent the previous season on loan with the Turkish side. During his stint, the Nigerian forward made a significant impact, scoring 17 goals and providing 4 assists in 25 appearances across all competitions.

In a related development, Belgian sources have reintroduced Roman Yaremchuk to Trabzonspor’s transfer agenda, potentially providing an alternative option if the Onuachu deal falls through.
