Tobi Amusan wins 4th national women’s 100mH title

World record holder Tobi Amusan soared to a fourth national title on Monday, winning the women’s 100m hurdles at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City.

Amusan crossed the line in 12.78s ahead of Adaobi Tabugo who was second in 13,. 33s, while Faith Osamuyi was third.

The 2022 World Champion will be hoping to be in good shape for the Paris 2024 Olympics where she aims to win a medal for the first time.

She is expected to be part of Nigeria’s delegation to the African Senior Athletics Championship in Cameroon later this month.
