The team has been hit with injury setbacks, with Semi Ajayi and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru expected to miss the games due to recent injuries.

Reports indicate that Kelechi Iheanacho, Taiwo Awoniyi, and Sadiq Umar could be left out due to poor form, while Tolu Arokodare is among those in contention for a call-up.

Fulham’s Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey are expected to be among the last arrivals, as they will feature in the Cottagers’ Premier League clash against Tottenham Hotspur before joining the squad.

With their World Cup hopes hanging in the balance, the Super Eagles must secure victories against Rwanda and Zimbabwe to boost their chances of qualifying for the 2026 tournament in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
