Nigeria’s Super Eagles B side were in action once again as they defeated Seamoriow 3-2 in their second friendly game on Friday and their fifth friendly game since resuming camp in Ikenne.

The Super Eagles B had secured four wins out of four in earlier friendly games against Grassrunners FC, Emmydinho FC, G12, and Kasam FA.

Sunday Megwo continued his impressive form, netting a brace to stake his claim as a pivotal member of the squad. Papa Daniel also scored to silence the spirited Seamoriow side

The friendly games serve as an opportunity to assess the team ahead of the all-important CHAN qualifier against Ghana while ensuring that players are match-fit and ready to deliver victory for Nigerians.

Fans are hoping that the friendlies are good enough tests to ensure the players are ready for the battle ahead as the team has to avoid another heartbreak from Ghana, the same nation that defeated Nigeria in the previous edition.

The Super Eagles B will continue their preparation in anticipation of their visit to the 40,000 capacity Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, 22nd December, before hosting the Black Galaxies at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, on Saturday, 28th December.
