Premier league side Southampton, are on the verge of signing talented Nigerian forward Victor Udoh from Belgian outfit, Royal Antwerp.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the deal is nearing completion, with all parties working tirelessly to finalize the transfer before the deadline by the end of Monday.
Victor Udoh’s footballing journey began in Nigeria, where he played for TBC Football Club and Hypebuzz FC. He then made the move to Royal Antwerp in March 2023, marking a significant milestone in his career. Udoh made his first-team debut for Antwerp in January 2024 and has since made 28 appearances across various competitions.
Despite not scoring for Royal Antwerp’s senior team, Victor Udoh has demonstrated his goal-scoring prowess with the club’s reserve side, the Young Reds. In 27 matches, he scored an impressive 12 goals, showcasing his clinical finishing and potential to become a prolific goal-scorer.
