Fenerbahce have listed versatile Super Eagles player Bright Osayi-Samuel on their squad for the knockout phase of the UEFA Europa League.
Clubs were given until February 3rd to confirm the list of players to represent them in the knockout phase of the competition after the January transfer window in top leagues and UEFA confirmed the list submitted by respective clubs on February 7th.
Osayi-Samuel has been at loggerheads with the club after he allegedly refused to sign their improved contract offer, and requested more money. The Nigeria international according to Gurkan AK from NTV had revealed that Osayi-Samuel rejected a €2 million contract increase and demanded a €2.5m increase instead.

The club was angered by the decision of the Nigerian and have threatened to omit his name from the squad list to prosecute the second half of the Turkish Super Lig campaign replacing his name with that of new signing Ognjen Mimović.
Osayi-Samuel who has predominantly played as a right-back for the club was listed as a forward on the list submitted to UEFA. The club also refused to sanction a move to Fulham for the 27-year-old on deadline day.
The former Queens Park Rangers forward has made 24 appearances for the club in all competitions this season with 14 of them coming in the league.
