Super Eagles Goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali is going through an incredibly difficult time, having recently suffered the devastating loss of his mother on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old announced his mother’s passing on Wednesday evening on his official Twitter page: “A very very crazy world indeed, Rip mom, worst year of my life already,” Nwabali revealed.
The unfortunate incidence follows the death of his Father which occurred on Friday, 15th November 2024.
As he navigates this difficult period, Nwabali will be surrounded by love and support from his family, friends and teammates. His football community has also rallied around him, offering condolences on the unfortunate loss.

Losing one parent is tough, but losing both parents in the space of two months is a terrible experience that Nwabali will never have expected. It is hoped that he can gather the fortitude to be able to go again after this dark period.
