Nottingham Forest are prepared to part ways with Nigerian striker Emmanuel Dennis, with growing interest from clubs across Europe.

According to Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth, three Championship sides, alongside clubs from Spain’s La Liga and Italy’s Serie A, are keen to secure Dennis’ signature before the transfer window closes.

“Interest in Nottingham Forest striker Emmanuel Dennis is growing. 3 Championship clubs, one from La Liga and one from Serie A are all keen to sign the player. Forest will listen to loan and permanent offers. Dennis has entered the final 18 months of his contract. #NFFC,” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Forest are open to both loan and permanent offers for the former Watford man, who has not been in the club’s plan. Dennis has entered the final 18 months of his contract at the City Ground, making this a crucial period for his future.

The 26-year-old has fallen down the pecking order under manager Nuno Espírito Santo, with the club failing to register him for the Premier League this season and have failed to use him in other competitions. His lack of playing time has prompted speculation about a potential move away to revive his career.

Dennis joined Nottingham Forest in August 2022 from Watford in a deal worth around £15 million. However, he has failed to replicate the form that saw him score 10 goals in the Premier League during his time with Watford.

While Forest are willing to let Dennis leave, Bold Sports had earlier reported that they are reluctant to sell his Super Eagles teammate Taiwo Awoniyi who has garnered interest from several clubs, including West Ham United.
