In a thrilling encounter at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal secured a dramatic 4-2 victory over Leicester City, thanks to a late own goal from Wilfred Ndidi and a stoppage-time strike from Kai Havertz.
The Gunners dominated the first half, taking a comfortable 2-0 lead through Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard. However, Leicester staged a remarkable comeback in the second half, with James Justin scoring twice.
With the game seemingly heading for a draw, Ndidi’s unfortunate own goal in the 95th minute gave Arsenal the lead. Havertz then sealed the win with a goal in the 99th minute.
Despite the late disappointment, Ndidi played a key role in Leicester’s second-half resurgence, providing an assist for Justin’s goal and making several important interceptions. The Nigerian international was eventually substituted in the 90th minute.
Leicester’s goalkeeper, Mads Hermansen, made 13 saves during the match, the most by a keeper in a single Premier League game in seven years.
Ndidi’s assist for Justin’s goal is his fourth of the season. He is only behind Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka who has recorded five assists this season.
