Chima Moneke put in an impressive performance to help propel Saski Baskonia to a 91-77 win over defending champions Panathinaikos in their Turkish Airlines EuroLeague matchup.

The win sees the Spaniards bounce back from a three-game losing streak in all competitions. The victory also saw them avenge the 104-64 loss they suffered at the hands of the Greek giants in December during their first meeting.

Moneke, a starter, tallied 18 points (6/7; 85.7% FG), grabbed four rebounds, dished out four assists, and notched a steal. He also took good care of the ball, committing just one turnover. Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot scored a game-high 20 points in the win for Baskonia while also adding seven rebounds, three assists, and one steal.

Kamar Baldwin had 15 points, Trent Forrest finished with 12 points, while Donta Hall contributed 11 points to the win.

Despite having several former NBA players in their ranks, such as Cedi Osman, Kendrick Nunn, Juancho Hernangomez, and Omer Yurtseven, the defending champions were outplayed by Baskonia from start to finish, winning all the quarters. Osman had a team-high 16 points while Yurtseven followed closely with 14 points.
