Norwegian side Molde FK have announced the signing of enterprising Nigerian teenager Daniel Daga from FC One Rocket, becoming the club’s first signing of 2025.
The talented forward broke into the limelight after joining Nigeria’s most successful club, Enyimba, in the 2023/24 season as a 17-year-old and taking the Nigeria Premier Football League by storm with eye-catching performances.
On Saturday, the club announced the signing of the Nigeria U-20 star and revealed that he would play his first game for the club in a friendly on Tuesday.
“We are proud to welcome Daniel as our first signing of 2025. We look forward to watching him develop and shine in blue and white!” the club said.
“All the paperwork is now in place, and Daniel is available for the friendly match against Træff at Aker Stadion on Tuesday, January 28. After the match, the team heads to Marbella for another training camp before the meeting with Shamrock Rovers in Europe.”

Molde CEO, Øystein Neerland says he is delighted with the signing of the talented Nigerian star, and the club will do their best to see him develop.
“We are very happy to bring in an exciting and talented player from Nigeria. Daniel already has experience from the top division there, and he is considered a great talent. We look forward to following his development here in Molde and helping him take new steps in his career,” Øystein Neerland said.
