Despite various transfer rumors linking Galatasaray and Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen with several clubs in Europe, especially in the Premier League, the Turkish powerhouse remain unfazed, insisting that the Super Eagles striker will remain at the club.
According to Florian Plettenberg who revealed the transfer on his official X page, no negotiations are taking place with any team as regards Victor Osimhen: “Understand that Galatasaray Istanbul are currently “100%” convinced that Victor Osimhen will NOT leave the club this winter. At the moment, there are also no negotiations taking place with other teams,” the transfer expert disclosed.
Victor Osimhen has been pivotal for Galatasaray since he joined the Turkish club on loan from Napoli. The 26-year-old striker has scored 10 goals in the Turkish Super Lig while also recording three assists. He also has three goals and one assist in the Europa league for the Turkish giants.
Due to his brilliant form, and his track record as an outstanding finisher, various clubs across Europe have registered their interest in Osimhen. Arsenal are keen to secure his services due to their need for a striker while Manchester United are desperate to get him as they seek to rejuvenate their squad. Chelsea have also been linked with the Nigerian striker after they failed to agree a deal last summer.

Victor Osimhen has however repeatedly assured Galatasaray fans of his love for the club and the city. Since getting to the club, the striker has been welcomed in a unique way and he has been seen leading the club’s chants on several occasions.
While they are seemingly confident of securing the striker for a longer period, Galatasaray will face another difficult challenge in the summer transfer window where they’ll also be interested in tying him down to a permanent contract.
