Jordan Nwora and Daniel Oturu combined for 26 points to lead Anadolu Efes to a 101-91 victory over Bayern Munich in a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague clash on Tuesday night.

The win ends a two-game losing streak for Anadolu Efes, following recent defeats to French teams Paris and Lyon Villeurbanne earlier in November.

Nwora contributed 12 points, four rebounds, and two assists in 21 minutes, while Oturu added 14 points and six rebounds in 18 minutes on the court. Darius Thompson paced the team with a game-high 19 points, three rebounds, and six assists.

Despite an impressive performance from forward Devin Booker, who scored 27 points, grabbed eight rebounds, and dished out five assists, Bayern Munich fell short.

This season in the EuroLeague, Nwora is averaging 9.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 0.7 steals per game, while Oturu is posting averages of 9.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 0.4 assists, and 1.0 blocks per game.

Head coach Tomislav Mijatović expressed delight with the team’s performance and the unwavering support from fans.

“I am very happy and proud that we all experienced a true Anadolu Efes atmosphere tonight. From the opening whistle to the final possession, our fans and team were in complete harmony,” said the Croatian coach.

“Our fans were true Anadolu Efes supporters today. Even when things weren’t going well, they pushed the team in the right direction. I thank them and our players for their tremendous efforts.”
