Edo Queens make final 3 shortlist for Women’s club of the year

Edo Queens have been nominated by CAF for the final shortlist of the Women’s club of the year award alongside TP Mazembe and Asfar ahead of the 2024 awards billed for Rabat, Morocco on Monday, 16 December.

Edo Queens nomination comes after an impressive outing at the CAF Women’s Champions League where they finished top of their group before losing to TP Mazembe in the semi-finals and FC Masar in the third-place match courtesy of a penalty shootout.

Earlier in the year, Edo Queens won their first-ever Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership title and were also crowned champions of the WAFU B Champions League Qualifiers after a commanding 3-0 victory over Ainonvi FC.
