Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has been ranked as the 16th most valuable player in the German Bundesliga, according to the latest update from renowned football statistics website Transfermarkt.
The updated rankings, released on Friday, place Bayern Munich’s Jamal Musiala at the top with a market value of €140 million, reflecting a €10m increase since October 2024. He shares the lead with Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz, whose valuation also rose by €10m to €140m.
Harry Kane ranks third with a market value of €90m, marking a €10m decline. RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons holds fourth place at €80m, while Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise completes the top five with a valuation of €65m.
Victor Boniface maintained his market value at €45m, securing the 16th spot without any changes. However, his compatriot Nathan Tella experienced a €5m drop in valuation, falling from €23m to €18m.
Tella’s decreased value could be attributed to limited playing time, with the Nigerian international making only three league starts in 10 appearances for the Bundesliga champions. He is currently ranked as the 69th most-valuable player in the league.
Super Eagles defender Kevin Akpoguma is placed 300th on the list, with a market value of €2.5m, reflecting a €500,000 decrease in the latest update.
