Ex-Super Eagles player Emmanuel Amuneke will be looking to extend Heartland FC’s unbeaten run to five games when they face Katsina United on Friday at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium, Katsina.

Heartland have been in good form in recent games and have been unbeaten in their last four outings both home and away, earning two wins and two draws.

The Naze Millionaires’ last loss came in the hands of Akwa United on December 23rd, 2024 and since then, they have gone unbeaten in their next four games.

Heartland will be going into Friday’s game full of confidence coming off the back of their 2-0 win over title contenders Rivers United and their away draws at Lori Stars and Enyimba.

The club who started their season on a slow note are beginning to pick up good results which has seen them move to 11th on the NPFL log. A win in the game will see them leapfrog Kwara United and Niger Tornadoes into 9th place momentarily.

On the other hand, Katsina United will be looking to bounce back from their 1-0 loss in the hands of Bendel Insurance away from home. Katsina United have lost just one home game this season.

There will also be a huge blow for Amuneke’s side as he will be without influential skipper Christian Molokwu who has been suspended for the game due to yellow card accumulation.
