Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly considering a renewed pursuit of Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman, with the possibility of a move either during the upcoming January transfer window or next summer, according to reports in France.
Since joining Atalanta from RB Leipzig in 2022, Lookman has been in exceptional form, contributing 35 goals and 21 assists in 85 appearances across all competitions which include a hattrick in the final of the UEFA Europa League to hand the Italians their first-ever major trophy.

PSG expressed interest in the 26-year-old during the previous summer transfer window, reaching an agreement with the player but ultimately hesitating to finalize the deal. This indecision led to Lookman being temporarily removed from the Atalanta squad by manager Gian Piero Gasperini before being reinstated after the transfer window closed.
In addition to PSG, Arsenal and Liverpool were also rumored to be interested in the Ballon d’Or nominee, who has made a significant impact since his loan spell at Leicester City.
Any club looking to acquire Lookman from Atalanta would need to pay a substantial fee of €75 million, which is the Italian club’s valuation of the player. Given his impressive performances, it is anticipated that several other teams will also be interested in securing his services, allowing Atalanta to potentially profit significantly from the player they signed for €9.3 million.

Lookman’s versatility is a key factor that makes him attractive to PSG. If the French giants were to sign him, he would likely face competition for playing time from 22-year-old rising star Bradley Barcola.
The move could be facilitated by recent reports from a reputable French publication suggesting that forward Randal Kolo Muani may depart the club during the upcoming summer transfer window
