West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Tosin Adarabioyo from Chelsea during the January transfer window, according to reports.

The Super Eagles-eligible defender has struggled to secure a regular starting spot at Stamford Bridge and could be tempted by the prospect of more playing time with the Hammers.

Adarabioyo, who joined Chelsea on a free transfer from Fulham this summer, has made only 11 appearances across all competitions. While he impressed in the recent 5-1 victory over Southampton, the consistent presence of Wesley Fofana and Levi Colwill has limited his opportunities.

According to French outlet Foot Mercato, West Ham see Adarabioyo as a potential solution to their defensive woes. The club has the fourth-worst defensive record in the Premier League, conceding 27 goals in just 14 matches.

Despite significant summer spending under new manager Julen Lopetegui, West Ham have struggled to achieve desired results. The club currently sits 14th in the table, and bolstering their defense is seen as a priority.
