Super Eagles striker Umar Sadiq has hinted at a possible loan move away from Real Sociedad in January. The 27-year-old has struggled for regular playing time this season, making just seven La Liga appearances and starting only two games.

Injuries and a dip in form have compounded Sadiq’s lack of playing time. The former Roma player has yet to score a goal this season. When asked about a potential loan move, Sadiq expressed uncertainty about his future.

“I don’t know. Let’s see what will happen in the future,” Sadiq told Tribalfootball. “Let’s see what will happen as the season progresses.”

Despite his current struggles, Sadiq remains a beloved figure at Almeria, where he led the club back to La Liga. Fans of the club have been calling for his return, and the Nigerian international has not ruled out a possible future move back to the club.
