Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye, has joined Italian Serie A side Udinese on a four-year deal.

The move will serve as a fresh start for the  Nigeria international who failed to hold down a starting position at Watford since joining from Dutch side Sparta Rotherham last summer for €5 million.

Maduka Okoye made just two appearances for Watford – one in the FA Cup and another in the Carabao Cup while conceding four goals in both games.
