Tunde Onakoya is renowned for shattering the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous chess play in April 2024, enduring an astonishing 60-hour marathon while defeating several opponents.
Beyond his record-breaking achievement, Onakoya’s remarkable feat was also driven by a philanthropic mission: to generate $1 million in support of chess education initiatives benefiting disadvantaged children worldwide, with a special focus on African communities.
