Ivory Coast came from a goal down to defeat the Super Eagles 2-1 and win the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations AFCON trophy.
William Troost-Ekong had given the Eagles the lead the 38th minutes, rising highest to nod in from a corner kick.
Frank Jessie also from a corner kick brought the host nations level in the 62nd minute, before Sebastian Haller broke Eagles hearts nine minutes to the end of regulation time to seal a third AFCON title for the Ivorians.
