Super Falcons’ stars Rasheedat Ajibade, Asisat Oshoala, and Chiamaka Nnadozie have all been nominated for the EA SPORT FC’s team of the year in the attacking and goalkeeping category respectively.
The EA SPORTS FC Team of the Year is a unique award that empowers fans worldwide to choose their favorite players. Through a fan-voted process, supporters get to decide which players they think excel in their positions, making their voices heard in the global football community.
Chiamaka Nnadozie, who recently retained her Africa’s best goalkeeper award, was nominated after an amazing year for club and country, pitting her up against top goalkeepers around Europe including Merle Frohms, Lola Gallardo, Anna Moorhouse, and Ann-Katrin Berger.
Meanwhile, Asisat Oshoala and Rasheedat Ajibade were both nominated in the attacker’s category alongside several other elite players such as Khadija Shaw, Lauren Hemp, Lauren James, Mariona, Mayra Ramirez, Tabitha Chawinga, Kadidiatou Diani, Marie Katoto, Melchie Dumornay, and Alexandra Popp.

Lea Schüller, Vanessa Fudalla, Kristin Kögel, Caroline Graham Hansen, Ewa Pajor, Salma Paralluelo, Alba Redondo, Barbra Banda, and Sophia Smith are other attackers who were included in the list of nominees.
To cast their votes, fans can visit the EA SPORTS FC official website to view the full list of nominees and select their choices for the Women’s Team of the Year. Voting is open until Sunday, January 12, allowing fans ample time to weigh in. The TOTY XI will be revealed in EA SPORTS FC 25 on January 15, followed by its availability on EA SPORTS FC Mobile on January 21.
