StarTimes to broadcast D’Tigress Olympics qualifying games

Chinese electronics and media company Startimes will broadcast all three games of the D’Tigress FIBA 2024 Olympics Qualifying Tournament in Antwerp, Belgium from February 8 to 11, 2024.

The cable network announced the news on Tuesday on their social media platforms, “@DtigressNG We are bringing all your matches in the @FIBA Women Olympic Qualifiers from February 8 – 11 to Nigerians. We love you like that!”

The news comes as a relief for fans looking to watch and cheer Nigeria to glory in the competition.

The D’Tigress will be looking to return to the Olympics having featured in the last edition in Tokyo but will have to finish in the top 3 of the qualifiers in Belgium.

They’ll face Senegal in their opening game on Thursday, then the United who have already qualified for the competition as defending champions before facing hosts Belgium on Sunday.
