Red Star Belgrade unveils Peter Olayinka

Super Eagles forward, Peter Olayinka, has been officially unveiled as a Red Star Belgrade player after signing a three-year contract with the Serbian professional football giants in Belgrade.

The deal had been completed in January ending Olayinka’s five-year stint at Czech side Slavia Prague. He is joining Red Star as a free agent with a clause that allows both club and player to extend the current deal by another year. 

During his five-year spell in Prague, the Nigeria international scored 50 goals in 183 appearances for the club while providing 26 assists.

The club who on Monday unveiled the Nigerian in a statement said, “Big job done by the Red Star when in January 2023. agreed on the transfer of Piter Olanjinka without compensation. Today, a Nigerian winger who paraphrased cooperation for three years with the possibility of extension to another one has been narrated.”

In his last season with Slavia Prague, Olayinka scored 17 goals in 37 games across all competitions while providing eight assists.
