Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has initiated contact with Napoli regarding a potential January transfer for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, potentially disrupting his loan spell at Galatasaray, Bold SportsNG reports.
PSG has been a prominent contender for Osimhen’s signature for the past two seasons. Recent reports from France and Italy indicate that the club has already engaged with the striker’s agent to explore his interest in a January move to Paris.
The French club’s summer pursuit of Osimhen was unsuccessful due to Napoli’s €100 million valuation. However, with Randal Kolo Muani potentially departing in January, PSG might have an opening for Osimhen.
Napoli has communicated to interested clubs that a January transfer for the striker would command a €190 million fee. However, given PSG’s potential budget constraints, a lower fee might be negotiated.
Osimhen has emphasized his commitment to fulfilling his loan agreement with Galatasaray, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to play regularly after facing potential exclusion from the Napoli squad.
Aside from PSG, Manchester United has also been advised to go out and sign the Nigerian in January.
