Czech First League side, Bohemians 1905 has completed the move of highly-rated midfielder, Nelson Okeke on a loan deal from Sparta Prague until the end of 2025. The 22-year-old has already shown glimpses of his immense potential in the second division reserve team and is now eager to take the next step in his development with regular first-team football.
“Following the recent transfer of Peter Kareem, Bohemians are bringing in another footballer originally from Nigeria. Young midfielder Nelson Okeke belongs to Sparta Prague, where he mainly plays in the second division reserve. However, he has already gained experience in the training process with the Letenské A team,” the Czech team announced.
“Okeke signed a new contract with Sparta last summer, but will spend the calendar year 2025 in Vršovice. He comes to Bohemians on a one-year loan. In this case, there is no fixed option,” they added.
The club expressed optimism in the Nigerian’s talent, indicating that he could be a player to inject speed and energy into their play: “In this year’s Chance National League, the 22-year-old midfielder played in 15 matches, in which he recorded 1,108 minutes and scored once. He is a fast, strong, talented player,” they revealed.
Okeke is expected to return to Sparta Prague at the end of the loan move, as such, he will be looking to prove himself as a top-tier talent and take the next step in his journey to becoming a regular for the Czech powerhouse.
