Nigeria’s Stanley Nwabali kept a clean sheet as Chippa United cruised to a comfortable 3-0 victory against 10-man Richards Bay in the South African Premier League.
Making his second appearance since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations, the 27-year-old goalkeeper remained composed despite facing minimal threats from the visitors.

Chippa United dominated the game, taking an early lead in the 7th minute through Justice Chabalala. Craig Martin doubled the lead just five minutes later, putting the home side firmly in control.
Richards Bay’s struggles worsened when Abdi Banda received a red card in the 54th minute, leaving them with a one-man disadvantage. Chippa capitalized on this, adding a third goal through Kayden Francis in the 74th minute.
Nwabali’s clean sheet brings his total to eight in 17 PSL appearances this season. He is currently two clean sheets behind Mamelodi Sundowns’ Ronwen Williams, who leads the league with 10 clean sheets in just 13 games.
