A total of ten matches will be played across the country on Wednesday and Thursday as matchday 25 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) takes center stage.
The action kicks off in Lagos at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, where Ikorodu City will aim to return to winning ways at home against struggling Plateau United. The Oga Boys secured a crucial away point over the weekend, playing out a goalless draw against relegation-threatened Nasarawa United in Lafia.
Despite being league debutants, Ikorodu City have been one of the standout teams this season. They currently sit sixth on the table, just three points away from an automatic CAF Confederation Cup spot.
Securing a continental ticket in their first-ever NPFL campaign would be a remarkable achievement for the club.

Meanwhile, Shooting Stars will be desperate to bounce back from consecutive defeats to Kwara United and Heartland when they host bottom-placed Lobi Stars at the Lekan Salami Stadium.
The Oluyole Warriors controversially dropped three points over the weekend, losing 2-1 to Heartland at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri. A win or even a draw in that fixture would have helped them close the gap on league leaders Remo Stars, who also suffered a setback against defending champions Enugu Rangers.
Fresh off their impressive 2-1 victory over Remo Stars, Enugu Rangers will look to complete a season double over Abia Warriors when they face off at the Umuahia Township Stadium.
The Flying Antelopes edged the first leg 1-0 in Enugu back in October, and with their title challenge back on track, they will be eager to pick up maximum points to stay in contention for the top spot and strengthen their push for continental football.

Rivers United, on the other hand, have seen their title hopes slowly fade, managing just one win in their last seven league outings. However, they have a chance to turn things around when they visit Akwa United at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
Akwa United have endured a dismal season, sitting 19th on the table with just six wins from 24 matches. This game presents a golden opportunity for Rivers United to get their campaign back on track, but another defeat could all but end their title aspirations.
Bayelsa United, currently on a three-match winless run, will fancy their chances when they host second-from-bottom Nasarawa United at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa. While the home side holds the upper hand, they must be wary of Lafia’s talisman, Anas Yusuf, one of the most lethal strikers in the league.

Elsewhere on Wednesday, Sunshine Stars take on Kano Pillars at their adopted home in Ikenne, El Kanemi Warriors host Bendel Insurance in Maiduguri, and Niger Tornadoes face Heartland at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna.
The Matchday 25 fixtures wrap up on Thursday in Ikenne, where table-toppers Remo Stars will be looking to bounce back from their 2-1 loss to Enugu Rangers as they host Kwara United. After dropping three points over the weekend, the Sky Blue Stars will be eager to widen the gap between themselves and Shooting Stars.
Meanwhile, Katsina United will square off against Enyimba at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina, rounding off an exciting midweek of NPFL action.
