Nigerian winger Moses Simon has been voted FC Nantes’ Player of the Month for December 2024.
The club while announcing in a statement on its website, said Simon won after receiving 44% of the fan votes.
Simon was recognized for his standout performances last month, including a spectacular goal against Rennes.
“You have designated Moses Simon, author of a magnificent goal against Rennes, as the Canary of the Month for December 2024,” the club announced on their official website.
The former Levante player will be presented with his award before Nantes’ next home game against AS Monaco at La Beaujoire on Friday, January 10, 2025.
“The Nigerian striker will receive his trophy before the FC Nantes-AS Monaco match, the Canaries’ next encounter at La Beaujoire,” the club added.
Simon has been a key figure for Nantes this season, providing both goals and assists as the team aim to climb up the Ligue 1 table.
“Congratulations Moses!” the club added.
The winger is out injured after undergoing an ankle surgery late last month.
