AC Milan have made an official €25 million bid to Villarreal for Nigeria international Samuel Chukwueze after weeks of personal negotiations with the winger.
The 24-year-old who has just one year left on his current deal with the Yellow Submarine has already agreed on personal terms with the seven-time UEFA Champions League winners.
Chukwueze has played all his professional career at Villarreal since joining the club’s B team in 2017. He made a total of 207 senior team appearances, scoring 37 goals and providing 31 assists during his six years spell at the club.
The pacy and tricky left-footed right-winger will be missed at the Estadio de la Cerámica especially due to his ever-impressive entertaining performances against some of La Liga’s top teams especially Real Madrid and Barcelona.

According to The Athletic, Milan are also interested in Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic. They have lodged two bids for the 24-year-old USMNT winger.
