Ademola Lookman’s impressive form for Atalanta has drawn interest from Arsenal, Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Tottenham Hotspur, with the forward reportedly open to a return to the Premier League.

The 26-year-old has emerged as one of Serie A’s standout performers this season, delivering consistent displays for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side. Lookman was named man of the match in Atalanta’s recent 3-2 victory over AC Milan, scoring the decisive late winner.

He was also Atalanta’s star last season, winning the Europa League for them with his hat-trick securing a 3-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen in the final.

The Nigerian winger has registered 10 goals and five assists in 16 appearances across the Serie A and Champions League this season, showcasing sharp movement, direct running, and a clinical eye for goal. However, Premier League scouts remain cautious about whether his stellar performances in Italy can translate back to English football.

Lookman, who previously had spells with Everton, Fulham, and Leicester City, showed flashes of brilliance during his time in the Premier League but struggled to find consistency. Under Gasperini at Atalanta, Lookman has flourished in a system that maximises his strengths, particularly in fluid attacking transitions with strong wing-back support.

Despite being contracted to Atalanta until 2026 and valued at around £25 million, sources suggest a January transfer remains unlikely. However, a summer move could materialise, with the four Premier League clubs closely monitoring his development.

According to GiveMeSport, intermediaries familiar with the situation acknowledge that while Lookman’s return to England is a possibility, clubs are carefully evaluating whether he can maintain his current form outside of Atalanta’s specialised tactical set-up.

For now, Lookman remains integral to Atalanta’s campaign, but interest from the Premier League’s top sides highlights the growing recognition of his abilities—and the intriguing question of whether he can thrive once again on English soil.
