Jarus FC vs. Koko FC
The tournament opened with Jarus FC facing off against Koko FC, owned by music star D’Banj. The first half ended in a stalemate, but Uzochukwu Donald’s second-half strike secured a 1-0 victory for Koko FC.

In line with Lagos Liga tradition, both teams proceeded to a post-match penalty shootout for an additional point. Koko FC came out on top again, leaving D’Banj’s team with four points after the match while Jarus FC remained empty-handed.
30BG FC vs. Mavbrooks FC
The second game featured 30BG FC, owned by Davido, taking on Mavbrooks FC. Goalkeeper Opeyemi Joshua of 30BG FC delivered a heroic performance, ensuring a goalless draw at full-time.
In the penalty shootout for the extra point, Mavbrooks FC edged out 30BG FC with a 3-2 win, earning a valuable point and leaving 30BG with just one point from the match.
SuperStar FC vs. Golden Alchemy SC
The final match of the day was a pulsating clash between SuperStar FC of Lagos and Golden Alchemy SC of Abuja. SuperStar FC struck first with a well-crafted goal, but Golden Alchemy equalized before halftime and took a 2-1 lead early in the second half.
However, SuperStar FC staged a dramatic late comeback, scoring two goals to claim a 3-2 victory and maximum points. In the penalty shootout for the additional point, Golden Alchemy fell short, losing 2-0.
