Leicester City midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi and Fulham star player, Alex Iwobi were both selected in the Whoscored Premier League Team of the Week for Gameweek 14.
The two Super Eagles stars were included alongside nine other players who shone for their respective teams during the week such as: Mark Flekken (Brentford), Ashley Young (Everton), James Tarkowski (Everton), Dean Huijsen (Bournemouth), Victor Kristiansen (Leicester), Mo Salah (Liverpool), Bilal El Khannous (Leicester), Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa), and Christopher Nkunku (Chelsea).
While the match was Van Nistelrooy’s first game as Leicester manager, Wilfred Ndidi stole the spotlight as he was named man of the match in Leicester’s 3-1 victory over West Ham.
The Nigerian midfielder was excellent, winning the most tackles in the game (6) while also winning 77% of his ground duels and 80% of his aerial duels.

Alex Iwobi meanwhile, was unstoppable against Brighton. He scored a brace, to give Fulham an early lead, and also to seal the win in the dying minutes of the game.
Asides his goals, Iwobi often dropped back to assist the right back and he was also involved in the build up play of the Cottagers, highlighting his versatility and his impeccable work rate.
While Ndidi’s Leicester will host Brighton in their next game, Iwobi’s Fulham will take on Arsenal as the in-form midfielder seeks to shine against his former team.
