Josh Okogie scored a season-high 19 points off the bench, but it was not enough as the Charlotte Hornets suffered a 112-107 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers at the Spectrum Centre after a monstrous performance by All-Star center Anthony Davis.

Okogie, who was recently traded to the Hornets from the Phoenix Suns for center Nick Richards, has seen an increase in his time on the court compared to the limited minutes he had during his stint with the Suns, a situation that has positively affected his output.

Aside from scoring his season-high 19 points, the D’Tigers shooting guard also added a game-high four steals, two rebounds, and two assists. Miles Bridges scored a team-high 26 points Josh Green had 15 points while center Mark Williams added 11 points.

At Madison Square Garden, D’Tigers forward Precious Achiuwa scored 14 points and added three rebounds and one assist to help the New York Knicks to a 143-106 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.
