Victor Osimhen says the team is disappointed after Galatasaray’s 3-3 draw against Dynamo Kyiv in Tuesday’s matchday 7 UEFA Europa League encounter.
The Turkish giants were in cruise control after goals from Davinson Sánchez, Abdülkerim Bardakcı, and Osimhen, but the Ukrainians mounted a comeback through Vladyslav Vanat and a brace from Andriy Yarmolenko in the 68th and 81st minutes that earned them a draw.
In reacting to the result, Osimhen says the players are disappointed, especially noting that they could have scored more goals and be more solid defensively.

“We are disappointed. We thought we deserved more. We need to take responsibility as a team,” the Super Eagles striker said after the game.
“I think we all made mistakes. They also fought well and scored goals. There were two consecutive draws. Now we need to work and learn from our mistakes. We need to focus on the upcoming matches.
“We need to understand each other better at certain moments. If I’m going strong, I look at who I can pass to and who I can receive the pass from. We could have scored more goals today. We need to learn from our mistakes and be better.”
Osimhen scored his 15th goal in all competitions in the win. The 26-year-old has been in superb form since joining the Turkish side on loan from Napoli in the summer. He has been the subject of transfer speculations recently, with Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, and Arsenal actively seeking to land him during the winter transfer window.
More recently, Osimhen has been linked to Arsenal.
