The Nigerian football fraternity has been thrown into mourning with the news of the death of the proprietor of former Nigeria Premier Football League side FC Ifeanyi Ubah, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, at the age of 52 in London.
The prominent oil mogul according to reports slumped and died in a London hotel in what family and close relatives said was a cardiac arrest.
Ifeanyi Ubah founded the club in 2015 and quickly became one of the most prominent clubs in the NPFL.
The club won its first major title in 2016 after claiming the Federation Cup and qualifying for the CAF Confederation Cup.
