Black Galaxies Head Coach, Didi Dramani has declared his team’s readiness for the upcoming CHAN qualifiers against the Super Eagles B on Sunday, 22nd December.

The Black Galaxies secured back-to-back friendly victories over Nania FC and Northern City in two preparatory matches at the GFA Technical Centre. They also traveled to Togo and secured a 2-0 win ahead of the all-important clash.

However, Dramani asserted in a recent interview that the focus has now shifted to getting the players fit and ready for the qualifying match: “We try to do some maintenance in terms of the physical aspect of it because they [players] are already in season and we try to take care of those who are already highly exhausted in terms of their loading,” he said. “We are physically, technically, tactically well-oriented and once the days come by, we still continue to refine,” he added.

As for preparation, we are okay, we are already there but we have to be ready for the game,” the Head coach declared.

The Super Eagles B team will visit the 40,000 capacity Accra Sports Stadium to face Ghana on Sunday, 22nd December before hosting the Black Galaxies at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, six days later. The winner over two legs will earn a spot in the African Nations Championship.
