Cyriel Dessers scored twice as Rangers delivered a dominant 6-0 victory over Kilmarnock at Ibrox, matching their biggest win of the season in the Scottish Premiership.

Captain James Tavernier opened the scoring, netting his first league goal of the campaign by sliding in Ianis Hagi’s perfectly placed cross to give the hosts a well-deserved lead before halftime.

Rangers intensified their pressure in the second half, quickly adding two more goals. Danilo turned in another cross from Hagi, and Hamza Igamane fired home an emphatic strike after a defensive error by Kilmarnock’s Corrie Ndaba.

The onslaught continued with Vaclav Cerny drilling a low shot into the net for the fourth. Dessers, who came on as a second-half substitute, then took center stage.

His first goal was initially ruled offside after he converted a cross from Jefte, but VAR overturned the decision. He added his second—and Rangers’ sixth—with a composed first-time finish from Tavernier’s whipped delivery.

With this win, Rangers remain 11 points behind leaders Celtic and now sit within four points of Aberdeen with a game in hand. Meanwhile, Derek McInnes’ struggling Kilmarnock stay in 10th place, extending their winless streak to five matches.
