Former Super Eagles striker Brown Ideye emphasized that he is ready to give his all to help Enyimba secure a victory as the team prepares to face Al Masry SC at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo on Sunday.
Enyimba’s upcoming match against Al Masry SC is indeed a make-or-break situation. With only four points from four matches, they’re currently at the bottom of Group D as such a win against Al Masry would not only boost their points tally but also revive their hopes of advancing to the next round.
The stakes are high, and Enyimba’s recent form suggests they’re capable of pulling off a victory. They’ve won two of their last three matches under coach Stanley Eguma, scoring six goals in the process. However, they’ll need to overcome their previous loss to Al Masry, who won 2-0 in their earlier encounter.
Speaking with the press ahead of the crucial encounter, Ideye vowed that he and the team will leave no stone unturned in their quest for victory, promising to give their all in the crucial match.
“My job as a striker is to score goals. With the support of the team and everyone giving 120%, we know how important this game is for the club and for us as players. We’d do our best to see that we come out with the victory,” Ideye said.
With Al Masry captain, Hassan Ali, confident that his side will get the maximum points when the two teams face, Enyimba will need to put up a strong performance to secure a crucial win.
